The introduction of GDPR for websites that collect information about their subscribers has led me to remove the Guestbook. I'm sorry about that but the work involved to achieve compliance is too great. I've replaced the page with notable dates in the history of the school.

For the same reason, I have removed the Paypal button from the page about the book Against the Odds. Contact me if you would like to purchase a copy and I will send the relevant link. Please note, the cost of postage outside the UK is almost as much as the price of the book, so I will no longer be shipping to foreign parts.

I will be updating some pages and gradually adding new ones.

New Website Rebuild

With the loss of data when MSN closed its free website hosting, and the closure of the Hollies Past Pupils' Association in 2014, and on-going family illness that prevents me maintaining it regularly, it is time this website had a new re-build. 

 


 A Friends of this site Facebook Page  provides another platform for alumni wishing to make contact with classmates.

Past Pupils' Association

March 9, 2014
It is with sincere regret that I pass on a message from the Secretary of the PPA. 

"Sadly, there have been no volunteers to carry on with arranging future meetings owing to increasing age and infirmity among the members."

That the Association continued and flourished for 25 years following the closure of the Hollies is quite a testimony to the school, its staff, and pupils.

Urgent notice re Guest Book

I have just received the following message from the site that hosts the guestbook.

Please be advised that HTML Gear will be retiring on April 1, 2012. As of that date, all HTML Gear modules will cease functioning and you will no longer be able to log into htmlgear.com to make changes or updates.

To avoid a poor experience for your site visitors, please remove all HTML Gear modules from your pages before April 1, 2012.

Microsoft Office Servers are closing soon so I have transfered the Hollies Website here to Yola.

From April 2012, the url hollies-fcj.org will no longer be available so please update your bookmarkes to the Yola address.

Send notices of reunions and other events to me here via the contact form and I will do my best to include it on the new  'News' page.
